It all started in April 1999, 4 guys got together and had an idea. Thunder Mountain Riders was born. Of those 4 original members, only 1 remains. Thunder Mountain Riders (TMR) is comprised of people interested in making our community a better place to live, by helping kids have a better future, starting today.

From 2001 to date, at Christmas time, TMR has helped make Christmas better for "Hand Up Homes For Youth Inc., Housing an average of 12 boys. We get to play Santa and the Elves, bringing gifts to these kids who may not otherwise have a gift under the tree.

Hand Up Homes For Youth is a non profit home for at risk adolescent boys. We hope to continue this tradition indefinitely.

Over the past 8 years TMR has helped where it was needed. We helped local law enforcement put on tractor races, refereed mud volleyball games, judged motorcycles for a local car show as well as sponsored toy runs.

At this point, all of our members ride, but there is
NOTHING  in our by-laws that state you MUST ride to be a member. T.M.R. is NOT a motorcycle club. Simply put, we are an organization of people helping the local community who happen to ride motorcycles.

So please, if you have the opportunity, attend one of our events. Help us to continue assisting  our local communities.

All runs, events and fund drives that T.M.R. hosts are
not for profit, all proceeds benefit local community organizations and local needs.
